In 2006, Byblos Bank Europe - Brussels, celebrates its 30th anniversary and continues with its London and Paris branches to serve exporting companies in Europe and to offer correspondent services to banks in the Mena region as well as personal banking facilities to its selected international clientele. This year, Byblos Bank Europe also increased its capital base by means of a EUR 30 million "convertible subordinated bond issue" totally subscribed to by Byblos Bank S.A.L. This increase in its net worth enables the Byblos Bank Europe to reinforce its lending capacity, to better serve its correspondents, and to accompany the expansion of the Byblos Group.
