The international capital markets have evolved not only in size, but also in range of instruments, their application and the sophistication of their technique involved. The capital markets unit, Treasury Dept. at Byblos Bank provides access to these markets, both equity and fixed income in international markets. Its main role is to help its clients to receive and to interpret the financial information in order to make a better decision.

A. Equity:
No custody fees
1-Europe Market: Commission is 0.5% of the transaction amount with a minimum fee of 35 Euro.
2-U.S. Market: Commission is 10 cents per share for price greater than USD 15, and 8 cents per share for price less than USD 15, with a minimum fee of USD 75. Minimum required amount to open an account is US$25,000 .
3-Other Markets: On a case by case scenario.

B-Fixed Income:
Bonds:
Byblos Bank is very active in the Eurobonds market for emerging markets, especially in the MENA region. Custody fees are 0.025% per year.
