Consumer Loan Expatriates Housing Loan
Purpose  To buy a finished house located in Lebanon only 
Applicant Profile  - Lebanese non-residents 
- Maximum age not to exceed 64 by the end of the loan period. 
- Employed or self employed with a minimum of two years working experience in the same field. 
- Self -employed with a banking relationship.
- Minimum net monthly income $ 750. 
- Monthly payment should not over pass 1/3 of the salary for employee
Amount  Minimum $25,000 
Interest Rate on USD  LIBOR + 4.75% MINIMUM 8% *  Regressive, reviewed annually. 
Fixed rates will be determined upon presentation of the application.
Repayment Period  7 to 15 Years 
50% for employees / self-employed working in Africa, Asia and Australia
Distinctive Feature  - The financing level is up to 70% for employed or self employed doctors and engineers and 60% for other liberal professions
- If loan period is > or = to 7 years and house value is < or = to $120,000, no mortgage fees and no stamp fees 
- You can design a proxy or a relative to represent you during the mortgage and registration operation.

* The interest rate is calculated as Libor + 4.75% (MINIMUM 8%) on USD, reviewed annually.

(**)The Bank reserves itself the right to request any additional guarantees when necessary.

Required Documents 
Personal  Employment On the Property
1-One passport photo (recent).
2-Extract of family civil status (3 months recent).
3-Copy of identification card or passport (valid).
4-Extract of police record (recent).
5-Copy of diploma (if any).
6-Bank reference (if not a Byblos Bank customer).
7-Copy of a valid work and residence permits (issued by the proper
authorities at the country of residence).
8-Evidence of existing address in Lebanon.
FOR EMPLOYEE
1-Copy of employment contract (if any).
2-A certificate of salary as per Byblos Bank specimen
validated by the proper authorities/or statement of
account for the last 12 months showing the salary trend
FOR SELF EMPLOYED
1-Declaration of income for the last 2 years as per
Byblos Bank specimen (attached)
2-Statement of income for the last year.
3-Official audited financial statements.
4-Copy of trade register company or company’s circular
5-Copy of company by laws.
1-Copy of seller extract of civil status (recent).
2-Copy of allotment plan (authenticated).
3-Copy of title deeds.
4-Real estate certificate of the plot purpose of loan plus
the section 1&3 (1month recent).
5-Zoning and planning map
(if notes exist on the real estate certificate).
6-Habitation permit authentified by legal authorities
(or construction certificate if finished before March 1964)
7-Sale contract and receipts or sale promise.
8-Rules of co-property authenticated by a public notary.
Note: Original copies should be presented for final approval
